Being a tutor I aim to develop in my students a deep recognition and self-assurance in answering assessment questions and having the ability to handle new problems. My philosophy is actually based on the opinion that learning takes place in an atmosphere of reciprocal appreciation in which the learner is encouraged to think and find new relationships for themselves. My experience has been that one-to-one private tuition has a unique benefit to students because of the ability to break down the students' own limitations to learning in a manner which lays the foundations for a long-term and thorough perception of the theme.
Student’s needs and learning style meaning
My approach varies depending on the child's learning style and needs. My teaching philosophy is based on motivating scholars to think for themselves, using real-world situations whenever it can be. |In my opinion it is necessary to supply students with a working skills and to practice problem-solving skill sets for development upon this knowledge. Tutoring a person to think analytically is at the fundamental of the things a student have to intercept from any subject program.
We learn through examples
The most lasting increases a teacher are able to do is coaching children, and it is a technique, which I find pleasurable and rewarding. From my practice, I discovered the effect of engaging students by using examples and of delivering material at a level that implies perception and yet not always knowledge, mixing the known with the unknown within a combination which delivers the scholar the feeling of likelihood rather than that one of impossibility that impressive and official approaches may inflict.
How I teach
I start from questions the students are comfortable with and proceed increasingly to more challenging fields as long as their self-confidence is being built. I operate questions and examples to make sure realising continually. I really don't lecture to students or tell them to remember information. Neither do I accomplish the learners' assignments for them!
I mainly prioritise test-style as well as past paper questions to analyse, practice and improve the child's understanding and capacity. I will also give a lot of accent to a number of the not so evident yet vital abilities for example, logical thought, essay structure and technique, and the useful use of numbers and graphs.
